Activated Charcoal soap seems to be everywhere right now, along with charcoal face masks. It’s easy to understand why: Charcoal is fantastic for the skin. It binds to dirt and pulls oil out of the pores, leaving skin clean and refreshed. Because of its oil-absorbing properties, it’s incredibly fantastic for oily skin. This Uruti bar was formulated with oily skin in mind. It contains activated charcoal, which gives the bar a rich black color. It produces a slightly grey lather due to a large amount of charcoal but does not stain washcloths. The recipe also uses Eucalyptus essential oil, which has a sweet forest scent. The oils in the formula are specially chosen for facial skin. Being hand made and totally natural, our soaps vary a little in size and color from batch to batch.
